Days, Days, Days

These photos were taken before I cut my bangs. Now I feel quite guilty to say goodbye to those pretty brunette hairs.. But what do you think? With or without bangs? Sera said she loves every hair styles I ever tried. A natural beauty, kekeh... :D

Thinking about a fashion blog.

Since I love self-taken pictures and post them here, I'm thinking about distracting my blog into a fashion blog. But I'm still looking for my own signature style :/ Classy? Casual? Chic? Or sissy...? :O I have no idea. So for now, I'll think about it first and keep the ideas on my head, hidden somewhere...

What the day has been so far:
1. Laid awake in bed for 10 minutes (the feeling that there is no real rush or need to get out of bed is much savored by me).
2. Made coffee (prepped with lots of cream and sugar, pls).
3. Quiet time (to journal, pray, and read my Bible).
4. Thought some new ideas for my college's projects and get it finished on time.
5. Talked to my boyfie, Christoph (it's been awhile so it was very good to laugh and talk to him - miss him so much!).

What the day looks like ahead of me:
1. SHOWER, and look alive.
2. More coffee.
3. Melbourne shopping day with Chloe.
4. More art - whether drawing or creating something smell 'artsy'.
5. To RELAX! It's been a go-go-go all week, so it's nice to have a day off for a change.

Hello, Monday

photos by Sera before we left Barcelona @ Aeropuerto de Barcelona-El Prat's coffee stall

Oh, Monday... we meet again. Another string of to-do-lists lay ahead of me. Hump-day is always a hard one, but so is Monday at the beginning of the week... and then Friday is exciting because you can practically taste the weekend. But it's also the last day of the week, so you feel lowest energy-wise.

And there is a dose of Miko's random thoughts...

But hey, last night was a good night - just like I said. I had a greaaaat flight, super-energized and the 35 minutes chit chat with some hot guys at the airport. Yummy European foods from silver spoon with Sera and a bit of American Idol action (I know, I know... kinda been an addiction since season 2), plus an INCREDIBLE LOST episode (did i say INCREDIBLE?!). And what topped off the night, I was told--right before I go to bed--that we're going to have another trip again SOON. Sera and Irene have planned a really good possible places for the 3 of us, yippie yayy! :D

So before I go to bed, last night I re-packaged my four suitcases happily. I know, I'm a nerd and I'm a newbie, here in Sydney. Not to go all deep here in this little hump-day post, but I think it's the little things of life that keep a person going. they are the tiny blessings of life (coffee with a friend, a holiday ticket, a lovely note, European foods I've finally tasted) that makes the worst of days bearable. I'm thankful to God for the little things that have happened.

I hope my joy over little things (including another one little trip with bestfriends) never goes away.

What little things make your day, friend? ;)

Something Lasts Forever

Hi beautiful people :) How's your day? Just finish packing up to get home back to Sydney (and the song currently playing on my mind is Big Bang - Love Song... cheesy, no? :D). Last night I Skype-ing with boyfie and he said he'll cut his workdays and be home right back to pick me up :)) That's just too sweet, you know! Sera will back to Moscow, Irene will back to Athens (to get some stuffs back, and then fly away to New York), and I'm gonna be on my apartment in Sydney.... Too bad that the trip has ended now :( I still miss those girls! They're my childhood dreams ever. We'be been together for 10 years and I can't say how happy I am to be finally gathered up again now.

But it's time to put back our fairytale's memories and open the reality book. Good bye, Barcelona....

.... and see you girls, really soon! :)

Losing Thoughts

Second day in Barcelona! Walking around flea markets with Sera this morning and having a really good day. I feel better than yesterdays. Despite the cold weather I feel, Barcelona is really warm. I can even hang with thin jumper and I still can feel my feet :O One point plus for Spain, since I used to wear layered clothes in Sydney.

Anyway, some of you guys asked me what's the difference between Japanese blooded girl and Korean blooded girl (in this case, South Korean). Actually for me, that means nothing. Probably it will only gives you effect on your face because if someday people ask you where do you come from, you can't lie but say the truth. Really, they should've known before that you're a Japanese, or Korean, or Chinese. Whatever but most of the thing, you're Asian. And you can't run away from that reality.... Just like me!

Those Random Days

Quite blurry, I know -__- Today after having a sightseeing in Barcelona with Sera. I currently having my short holiday and Barcelona was the first place I think about. I've been planning this little getaway trip with her ever since I got my hectic schedule was about to begun, geez. Boyfie is having his job done in Germany and won't return for the next 5 days. Oh, gonna spend this week in a really miserable days....

But thank you so much for my best partner in crime, Sera and Irene for accompanying me in such a flashing trip. Besides, I haven't been able to make Barcelona a visit. So this is the first time I step my feet in the land of Barca Villa!
